To catch and slow the rain
Perhaps;

Adding Nitrogen Clover
In lieu of;
Chemical fertilizers
And to your elected officials
Denote to them that you care
By writing an editorial
For your local dailies
And with that-
Streams are secure
With no hardships to endure.
